Childbirth Class

When: Sunday June 28th, 2026 12:30-4:30pm

Where: AHall Artworks Studio-Vancouver WA

Who: Expectant parent and 1 support person

Price: $135

Whether you are planning a home birth, birth center birth, or a low-intervention hospital birth, this class is designed to help you prepare for birth with confidence, connection, and trust in the wisdom of the body.

Together, we will explore the physiology of birth and the natural rhythms of labor, learning how the body and hormones work together to support the unfolding process of birth when safety, support, and freedom are protected. This class honors birth as both a transformational life experience and a deeply instinctive process.

Partners will learn how to offer grounded, nurturing support through every stage of labor using touch, movement, breath, comfort measures, advocacy, and intentional presence. We will discuss ways to create a calm and supportive birth environment, navigate choices with confidence, and work with labor rather than against it.

This class weaves practical preparation with a holistic and heart-centered approach, helping families feel informed, empowered, and connected as they prepare to welcome their baby. Perfect for anyone seeking a more conscious, physiological, and low-intervention approach to birth.

Birth Story Art Circle

When: TBD June 2026 2 hours

Where: AHall Artworks Studio- Vancouver WA

Who: Anyone who has given birth

Price: $30

This gathering is for people who have previously given birth and are looking for a supportive space to reflect on and process their birth experiences through conversation and creative expression. Together, we will share stories, explore emotions that may still be present, and create art as a gentle tool for reflection and integration.

No art experience is needed. The focus is on process, not artistic skill. Participants are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

Please note: this is a peer support and creative community space, not therapy. I am not a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional, and this class is not intended to provide mental health treatment or crisis support.

The intention of this class is to foster connection, validation, creativity, and compassionate listening among people with lived birth experience.

Welcome to Womb & Beyond

A resource for new parents looking to take private or virtual childbirth classes and obtain the services of a postpartum doula in and around Vancouver Washington.

The Importance of Childbirth Class

Taking a childbirth class helps parents feel informed, confident, and prepared for labor and birth. A childbirth class can help decrease anxiety and fear by focusing on the body’s natural instincts around labor and birth and providing essential evidence-based information.

Childbirth classes offered through Womb & Beyond are private, one-on-one classes tailored for each family’s specific birth plans. This approach ensures that you get clarity with sensitive subjects, don’t feel rushed when getting your questions answered, and that you feel comfortable having honest conversations around your fears.
